( appearance ) Marduk is tall enough, standing at an even six feet, and unnaturally thin by human standards. His black hair is long and kept mostly loose, save for a handful of neat braids that extend down past the normal length of it, all the way to his hips. There are dark circles under his equally dark eyes that never seem to quite go away; one of the perks of his race, along with the pale yellow skin and the spots of black that trail down from his cheekbones, following the major joints of his body. Both his teeth and nails are long and sharp, though by design and not any particular effort on his part.

He wears little ornamentation, save for a few scattered silver beads and thread wound into his braids. His clothes are of a nice enough fabric and fairly new, but are simple in cut and without any detailing on the edges.

Marduk's voice is pretty heavily accented, though god knows what it sounds like because it isn't as though I have a good reference for his language! More notably, anyone capable of sensing magic will be well aware that he seems to be a source of a large amount of arcane power-- whether or not he can actually use that much of it is a different story. There's also a secondary enchantment, one surrounding his right hand; it's an extremely shoddy illusion meant to hide the arcane brand that's burned into the back of it. It has literally zero meaning in Exsilium, but fuck if he's going to drop the habit anyway.
